የኢትዮጲያዊያን እና የኤርትራዊያን ኦቲዝም ማህበረሰብ – Ethiopian Eritrean Special Needs Community (EESNC)

Ethiopian Eritrean Special Needs Community is a non profit organization whose mission is linking a support group of parents, educators, and professionals in the DMV community to provide support, education, and guidance to families raising children with special needs so they can become effective advocates for their children.

While we officially became an organization in January 2019, the support group that started it all was formed in 2016 by the mom of a boy with Autism.  What started out as one small support group has
now grown to a monthly support group meetings and quarterly workshops, an active community via our Facebook and Viber, and other activities and outreach in support of the DMV special needs community.

The meetings are to families with kids of all ages. While the kids play, the parents will have
space to share our trials and tribulations, as well as our joys and triumphs in parenting our children with special needs.

Looking for support with autism?

EESNC is operated by volunteer parents of children with autism and professionals. All of our services are offered at no cost, including our support groups, social activities, and email/phone support.
